Services: One Generation Away (OneGenAway), has increased the number of its mobile food distributions, adding locations near the areas hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic and recent tornadoes. It is also providing emergency food boxes to children/teens who rely on their schools for breakfast and lunch. OneGenAway will continue its Mobile Pantry deliveries throughout the pandemic. Access to healthy foods and the preparation of nutritious meals, particularly for young children is the focus of the Dept. of Human Services’ nutrition role with the TSU COVID-19 Academy.
